These are the Lion Dancers.
Yesterday, I went to Surrey to a celebration site there. That's where the RCMP was holding their Musical Ride. It was also chinese day there. The Musical Ride is a horse show. Here are some pictures.
It is the Chinese New Year, the year of the tiger. When you have time google the Chinese Zodiac.

You're doing a great job, Dylan. It is hard to keep a blog going when you are so busy seeing the sights and events. What did you like best at the opening ceremony? I liked the snowboarder jumping through the rings! The Heritage Minister has complained that there wasn't enough French used. I must say I noticed that right away.
